Join the International Session (in English) at the 2013 Winter Conference

The Japan Association of Migration Policy Studies (JAMPS) comprises a study forum for academics, policy-makers and practitioners, who are engaged in migration policy and its studies, not only Japanese speakers, but also people who give presentations and conduct discussions in English. Therefore, JAMPS has opened an international session at its conferences.

Presentations by international students, foreign researchers, policy makers or practitioners are especially welcome, under the condition that the presenters become members of JAMPS.

Currently, JAMPS is calling for presentations at the international session of the 2013 Winter Conference (13:00 to 15:00, December 14, 2013, Shizuoka University of Art and Culture). Those interested in giving paper should fill in the form below and send it to the International Affairs Committee. The submission deadline for paper proposals is Thursday, October 24, 2013. Please refer to the following file for details.

役員選挙について／The Election of Executive Members

移民政策学会会員のみなさま

すでにご案内のように、来る5月11〜12日、甲南大学岡本キャンパスで
年次大会が開催されますが、大会初日の11日午後の総会において次期役員
選挙が予定されております。

この間、事務局で次期役員に立候補していただける方を募った結果、添付
ファイルのような結果になりましたので、ご報告いたします。

開催場所は神戸ですが、当日の投票に多くの方が参加されることを期待
しております。

To All JAMPS Members

As has already been announced, the JAMPS Annual Conference shall be held at
Konan University, Okamoto Campus on May 11-12, 2013. The election of
executive members is scheduled to take place at the General Assembly on the
afternoon of May 11.

Please find attached the list of candidates who have decided to stand for
executive positions, in response to a call made by the secretariat.

Although the conference will be convened in Kobe, I sincerely hope that
many JAMPS members will be able participate in the election.
